Although normally present in the digestive system, Candida can overgrow and cause infections in the mouth (thrush), skin (including diaper rash), genitals, or intestines, known as candidiasis. As a fungus, yeast thrives in moist environments and feeds on sugar. When white blood cells are distracted or suppressed, Candida can establish and grow quickly.

Causes

Yeast infections result from fungal overgrowth coupled with weakened immunity. Triggers include excess moisture, high sugar consumption, and chemical exposures. An example is diaper rash: when a baby’s skin contacts chemical irritants in diapers, white blood cells are diverted from immune defense, allowing Candida to thrive. Likewise, synthetic soaps, lotions, commercial wipes, and antibiotic use suppress immune responses and encourage yeast overgrowth. Persistent dampness (such as with athlete’s foot) or trauma (like mouth abrasions) also create perfect environments for fungi to grow.

Symptoms

White patches in the mouth (thrush)

Itchy rashes on skin or genitals

Diaper rash in babies

Athlete’s foot and ringworm

Crotch itch or fungal groin infections

Persistent moisture and irritation in body folds

Treatments

Dry out infected areas

Apply a homemade zinc oxide powder mixed with cornstarch daily to damp areas (such as the groin, under the breasts, and feet).

Use a heat lamp for 5 minutes, several times per day, to dry the skin.

Avoid synthetic lotions, soaps, ointments, and baby wipes that suppress skin immunity.

Eliminate sugar and moisture sources

Stop all sugar intake, including fruit juices and sweetened products.

Avoid trauma in oral infections (no crusts, popcorn, nuts, lozenges, or sucking actions).

For athlete’s foot: remove socks at home, boil them in laundry, dry to tinder-heat, wash with borax only.

Clean and disinfect laundry and diapers

Wash cloth diapers or socks in hot water with ½ cup borax.

Add vinegar or Lugol’s iodine (1 tsp) to rinse water as a yeast inhibitor.

Dry diapers and socks on the hottest setting to kill all spores.

Support skin healing and immunity

Rinse skin with diluted vitamin C (acidic and healing).

Do not give daily baths to babies; gently wash bottoms with borax, followed by a vitamin C rinse.

Avoid all chemical skin products (including fragrances, ointments, and commercial zinc creams).

Treat thrush (mouth infection)

Floss once daily with monofilament line; then brush teeth using white iodine or Lugol’s iodine.

Rinse mouth with 6 drops of Lugol’s in ¼ cup of water or apply directly to tongue and rub in with lips.

Sterilize toothbrushes with iodine or grain alcohol.

Kill Candida and prevent reinfection

Use a zapper or frequency generator daily to target Candida layers.

Continue daily treatment for at least 30 days to eliminate deep tissue infection.

Treat all infected body areas simultaneously to avoid reinfection.

Source: The Cure for All Diseases, Dr. Hulda Clark, p. 246

Introduction Candida albicans is the most common yeast infection in humans.
