Dr. Hulda Clark developed her bowel program as a key part of restoring health. She noticed that 70% of the immune system is in the intestines and that intestinal problems are always linked to harmful bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, Shigella, Clostridium, and other pathogens. These bacteria can move to damaged or weak areas of the body, causing ongoing inflammation and systemic decline.
Program objectives
The bowel program was designed by Dr. Clark with several goals:
- Eliminate dangerous enteric bacteria such as Salmonella, Shigella, E. coli, Clostridium, and others.
- Restore intestinal flora and improve digestion.
- Prevent or correct intestinal transit problems such as constipation or diarrhea.
- Reduce abdominal inflammation, gas, bloating, and discomfort.
- Support mental clarity, since intestinal dysbiosis can affect mood and concentration.
- Prepare the body for other cleanses such as the liver, kidney, and parasite programs.
The bowel cleanse should not be viewed just as a detox, but as a vital immune-restoration therapy. It aids in lowering the toxic and bacterial load that weakens the body through the digestive system. It is especially advised before beginning a liver cleanse, in cases of recurring intestinal issues, previous food poisoning, or as part of a comprehensive antiparasitic protocol alongside the zapper and other cleanses.
Substances and herbs used
This program is built on a mix of medicinal plants, minerals, and essential nutrients selected for their targeted effects on the intestines.
Main ingredients
- Turmeric: Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and protective for the intestines. Eliminates Shigella and E. coli.
- Fennel seeds: Reduce gas, combat intestinal pathogens, and improve digestion.
- Betaine hydrochloride: Supports gastric acidity and destroys Clostridium.
- Digestive enzymes: Ensure proper food breakdown and prevent undigested residues that feed bacteria.
- Black walnut tincture: Antiparasitic; destroys parasite larvae and eggs in the intestine.
- Lugol’s iodine: Powerful antimicrobial that eliminates Salmonella and protects the thyroid gland.
- Cascara sagrada: Gentle laxative that restores intestinal tone without creating dependency.
- Magnesium oxide: Acts as a mild osmotic laxative.
- Hot water on an empty stomach: Stimulates peristalsis and bowel emptying.
(Black walnut tincture should only be included if the full parasite cleanse has not been done recently.)

- Reduced bloating and gas
- Improved mood and concentration

- Enhanced effectiveness of the liver and parasite cleanses
This program not only eliminates intestinal pathogens but also supports the success of other cleanses for the liver, parasites, and kidneys by preparing the digestive system and reducing the body’s toxic load.
