One of the most commonly used food dyes is found in soft drinks, candies, ice creams, potato chips, cereals, vitamin syrups, and commercial baked goods. It is also present in certain vaccines and pharmaceutical tablets.
Impact on the body
Primarily ingested through food and medication, but also absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes.
It mimics and alters hormonal and neurotransmitter signaling, induces histamine release, and causes oxidative stress in immune tissues, sensitizing the body to allergens and suppressing immune coordination.
Health consequences
Dr. Hulda Clark identified its role in making the brain and respiratory tract more vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. It is associated with asthma, ADHD, eczema, anxiety disorders, autoimmune reactions, and chronic infections of the ears, nose, and throat.
