Dr. Hulda Clark’s kidney cleanse is a key part of her therapeutic program. Since most toxins in the body pass through the kidneys, this cleanse helps strengthen and purify them, aiding in eliminating bacteria from the urinary tract, dissolving kidney stones, and restoring normal excretory function.
To accomplish this, Dr. Clark carefully chose herbs and roots from “nature’s garden.” Knowing the properties of each plant explains why they are part of the formula.
Root mixture (½ cup of each):
- Hydrangea root (Hydrangea arborescens): Traditionally used by North American natives to expel and dissolve stones from the kidneys and bladder.
- Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis): Herbal treatment for cystitis and frequent urination.
- Gravel root (Eupatorium purpureum): Traditional indigenous remedy to eliminate urinary stones, treat cystitis, urethritis, childhood incontinence, and even impotence.
Other essential ingredients:
- Black cherry concentrate (240 mL): Helps against kidney stones and excessive urination.
- Goldenrod tincture (Solidago virgaurea, 30 mL): Used for urinary infections such as nephritis or cystitis; dissolves stones and combats Candida fungus.
- Ginger (Zingiber officinale, 500 mg): Supports digestive function and assists in the removal of malonic acid.
- Uva ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, 500 mg): Natural urinary antiseptic used by native peoples.
- Vitamin B6 (250 mg) + Magnesium (300 mg): Prevent the formation of oxalate stones.
- Fresh parsley: Highly nutritious, purifies the urinary system, eliminates toxins, and neutralizes malonic acid.
