Dr. Hulda Clark found that pangastritis, an inflammation of the entire stomach lining, develops primarily due to bacterial and parasitic invasion enabled by a loss of normal stomach acidity. When hydrochloric acid (HCl) levels drop (a condition known as hypochlorhydria), the stomach fails to sterilize food effectively, allowing pathogenic bacteria, parasite eggs, and fungi to enter and colonize the digestive tract. This microbial overgrowth also affects the gastroesophageal sphincter, promoting reflux, chronic irritation, and inflammation of the stomach lining.
The real problem, as Dr. Clark emphasized, lies in the poor regeneration of the gastric mucosa, which becomes unable to repair itself. This leads to erosion and, eventually, ulcer formation when the stomach begins to digest its own tissues. Contributing factors include age-related acid decline, antacid use (which worsens bacterial proliferation), and dietary pollutants such as solvents and heavy metals that further weaken the digestive system.
Symptoms
Typical signs of pangastritis include:
- Burning pain in the stomach or esophagus
- Acid reflux or regurgitation
- Gas, bloating, and indigestion
- Nausea or heaviness after meals
- Reduced appetite and fatigue due to poor digestion
When prolonged, these symptoms indicate systemic bacterial spread and impaired nutrient absorption, leading to weakened immunity and general decline.
Treatments
Dr. Clark’s approach to gastric inflammation focuses on eliminating pathogens, restoring stomach acidity, and regenerating the gastric mucosa:
- Kill pathogens
- Perform the herbal parasite cleanse (black walnut hull, wormwood, and cloves) and use the zapper to destroy parasites, bacteria, and fungi in the digestive tract.
- Complement zapping with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal supplements such as colloidal silver.
- Restore acidity and digestion
- Take Betaine Hydrochloride (1–2 capsules with each meal) to restore stomach acid and promote pepsin secretion, essential for protein digestion and sterilization of food.
- Supplement with digestive enzymes to assist fat and protein breakdown, prevent gas, and reduce inflammation in the digestive organs.
- Regenerate the gastric mucosa
- Use Quassia or slippery elm to support mucosal repair and soothe irritation.
- Support healing with mint oil (2–3 drops, 2–3× daily) to calm acidity and MSM (2–6 capsules before meals) for tissue regeneration and anti-inflammatory protection.
- Avoid aggravating factors
- Discontinue all antacids, aluminum-containing supplements, and processed foods that raise stomach pH.
- Avoid eating late, reheated oils, and moldy foods.
- Perform periodic liver and kidney cleanses to improve bile flow and systemic detoxification.
