Causes
Memory loss and dementia are not inevitable consequences of aging. According to Dr. Hulda Clark, they are caused primarily by the accumulation of toxins and pollutants, which overwhelm the liver’s detoxification capacity as it weakens with age. The most critical contributors include:
- Food molds, especially neurotoxic mycotoxins that cause brain hemorrhages and mental deterioration.
- Xylene and toluene, solvents commonly found in decaffeinated powders and carbonated beverages, which are brain-seeking and promote fluke invasion of the brain. These solvents persist in processed foods and drinks, bypass liver detox and reach the brain directly.
- Fluke parasites, which under the influence of solvents, reproduce in the brain and damage tissue, contributing to confusion, disorientation, and memory impairment.
- Heavy metals such as aluminum, mercury, cadmium, and thallium, which accumulate over time and interfere with normal brain function.
- Liver dysfunction, which reduces the ability to detoxify and allows neurotoxins to circulate systemically and reach the brain.
As the liver becomes overwhelmed, these toxins continuously bathe the brain, disrupting memory, speech, coordination, and mental clarity. This toxic overload, not age itself, is what initiates and accelerates the dementia process.
Symptoms
Signs of dementia begin with subtle memory lapses such as forgetting phone numbers, names, or events from earlier in the day. The person may struggle to finish sentences, lose track of time, or call people by incorrect names. As the condition progresses, they may walk with a cane due to instability, develop tremors or stooped posture, and rely on writing things down to function. There can be personality shifts toward passivity, increasing confusion, and reliance on self-talk to remember tasks. Loss of reading ability and overall disorientation become more prominent. These changes reflect toxic interference in brain function and reduced detoxification capacity of the liver.
Treatments
Treatment of dementias and memory loss
- Eliminate brain toxins
- Remove all aluminum sources: cookware, foil, baking powder, commercial salt, tea balls, deodorants, etc.
- Avoid food molds—ergot is especially dangerous and narrows the brain’s blood vessels.
- Avoid all commercial and carbonated beverages (they contain xylene and toluene). Use sterilized milk and homemade juices instead
- Kill parasites and pathogens
- Use the zapper or frequency generator to eliminate common brain parasites (e.g., flukes, Ascaris, Naegleria).
- Zap Shigella daily at bedtime.
- Start and repeat the Bowel Program to prevent reinfection
- Clear heavy metals and solvents
- Use thioctic acid: 100 mg, 2 capsules, 3x daily.
- Find a chelating physician to remove aluminum and other metals (e.g., cadmium, vanadium, thallium).
- Remove dental metals to stop metal leaching into tissues
- Support liver detoxification
- Vitamin C: 3 g daily
- Vitamin B2: 300 mg daily
- B-complex: 2 capsules daily
- Begin a kidney cleanse (p. 549), followed by a liver cleanse (p. 552)
- Improve brain oxygenation
- Use niacin: 250 mg time-release in the morning. If helpful, repeat 2-3x daily.
- Avoid ergot-contaminated foods (rye, pumpernickel, wine, beer), which restrict brain blood flow.
- Provide clean air, cure anemia, and correct a slow heartbeat if needed
- Optional aids
- Try full-spectrum light therapy to improve mental clarity and immunity.
- Add antioxidant support with glutathione, selenium, zinc, and vitamins A, C, and E
