Causes
Dr. Clark believes weight issues are due to organ dysfunction, toxin buildup, and metabolic imbalance, rather than overeating. In cases of obesity, the ovaries, thyroid, pancreas, brain, liver, and adrenals are often involved.
➞ A significant factor is gold accumulation from dental fillings or jewelry, which disrupts hormone and energy regulation. Additional factors include:
- Parasites and bacteria (e.g. Shigella)
- Thyroid inhibition by chlorine, bromine, and heavy metals
- Mold toxins and solvents that impair liver and thyroid function
- Constipation and poor bile flow reduce metabolic efficiency
- Low acetylcholine, affects bowel movement and energy release
- Underweight can also result from stomach infections (e.g., Giardia, Salmonella) and dental metals draining into the stomach.
Symptoms
- Overweight or obesity despite no excessive eating
- Fatigue, bloating, slow digestion
- Cravings, “nameless hunger”
- Constipation or irregular bowel movements
- Cold body temperature (suggesting low thyroid)
- In underweight: loss of appetite, early satiety, unexplained weight loss
Treatments
- Remove toxins and parasites
- Remove all gold and mouth metals
- Take thioctic acid (2–3 capsules/day for several months) to pull gold from tissues
- Kill parasites and bacteria with the zapper and Bowel Program (p. 546)
- Do regular kidney cleanses to eliminate metals and toxins
- Restore liver function
- Perform liver cleanses every two weeks until at least 2,000–3,000 stones are expelled (p. 552)
- This restores metabolic balance and appetite control
- Avoid all moldy foods and solvents
- Support digestion and elimination
- Use herbal laxatives like Cascara sagrada to increase bowel movements (target: 3/day)
- Maintain a sterile diet—boil dairy, eat no processed foods
- Avoid commercial beverages and flavorings
- Support thyroid naturally
- Avoid bleached bread and filter chlorinated water
- Use the herb Fucus for gentle thyroid support
- Raise body temperature through detox rather than hormone supplementation
- Nutritional strategies
- Drink fresh vegetable juices, eat unprocessed whole foods
- For underweight: eliminate parasites from the stomach and use high-calorie homemade recipes like Dr. Clark’s eggnog (boiled milk + cream + raw egg + banana + olive oil + honey + spices)
- Supplement with B-vitamins to stimulate appetite
- Optional pharmaceutical
- For severe weight loss (cachexia), hydrazine sulfate (65 mg, 3× daily, 30 days) may help (prescription only)
Dosage and schedule
- Start with: 1 capsule (typically 450–500 mg) at bedtime
- Adjust: Increase to 2 capsules at bedtime if needed, based on bowel response
- Goal: Achieve 3 bowel movements per day
- Form: Use capsules, not alcohol-based tinctures (due to solvent content)
Once regularity is achieved, maintain the lowest effective dose.
